Monday’s Storms Cause Damage In Kosciusko County

We’re getting new information today about yesterday’s storms. According to Kosciusko County’s Central Dispatch, the storm is being blamed for 10 accidents involving injuries and 3 other accidents where no one was injured. They received 11 calls about storm damage, 5 for fallen power lines, 12 for water-related road problems and 13 for disabled vehicles.

As much as 3-inches of rain fell on Kosciusko County and other parts of Northern Indiana in about an hour yesterday afternoon. Several rivers in the area are reaching or have already reached their flood stage, and there is the potential for more storms with heavy rainfall in the forecast for tomorrow and tomorrow night.
