Warsaw’s “Fire & Ice” First Friday Happening Tonight

All of Warsaw’s First Fridays this year will reflect the Indiana Bicentennial theme of “Decades of Change.” Tonight’s First Friday is the annual “Fire & Ice,” which features carved ice sculptures downtown. The first event of the year is from 5 to 9 p.m. Paula Bowman, First Friday coordinator, said there will be 20 ice sculptures this year. The centerpiece sculpture will be of the Bicentennial torch. The ice blocks will be unloaded this morning, with carvings beginning at noon. There will also be dancing and food booths at tonight’s First Friday event.
