A 49-year-old Goshen woman is facing a charge of sexual misconduct with a minor after police say she engaged in sexual activities with a 14-year-old. Brenda Leigh LeCount was arrested on Tuesday and booked at the Elkhart County Jail on a $75,000 bond. According to court documents, LeCount engaged in a sexual activity with the son of an acquaintance in January of last year. Authorities spoke with LeCount, who told them she had been under the influence of synthetic marijuana and did not recall the incident. If convicted, she could receive a sentence of up to 20 years in prison. Her next court hearing is in February and a trial date is set for May.
