Craig S. Cassel, 17, Pierceton, was hospitalized after a rollover accident Tuesday near Pierceton.
Cassel, who is unlicensed, was transported to a Fort Wayne hospital after injuring his upper arm in the accident Tuesday at 11:49 a.m. He drove a 1998 Ford at an unsafe speed into a cornfield after losing control of the vehicle on East Wooster Road, Pierceton, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department accident report. Cassel rolled the vehicle twice before stopping.
The accident caused up to $10,000 in damages, according to KCSD.
Multi-Township EMS and Pierceton Fire Department also responded to the scene.
