WARSAW — Millworks, the long-awaited multi-use apartment building where the old Owens grocery store once stood along West Center Street in Warsaw, will break ground in September.

The developer,  AP Development, and state officials finalized a final agreement needed before construction can begin, said Jeremy Skinner, director of community and economic development for the city.

Groundbreaking is scheduled for Sept. 23.

The approximately $21 million project will include 85 units of market-rate, workforce housing units, and some commercial space.

Amenities will include a rooftop deck for residents, bike storage and a dog washing facility, according to the developer’s website.
