The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department says a Warsaw man has admitted to robbing the Etna Green Mini Mart last month. Deputies say they used surveillance video from the early morning hours of May 26th to identify 20-year old Daricus Da-Jon Leigh Phillips of Warsaw. Detectives say Phillips’ girlfriend had previously worked at the mini mart, and that her vehicle was also identified on the video outside the business at the time of the robbery. Deputies claim they found the pry-bar used to break into the store, two bags of raw marijuana and cash that they claim was stolen in the robbery. Bond was set at $10,250.
