WARSAW — Zimmer Biomet has announced a global workforce reduction to “right-size the organization” and align its resources with business realities.
The company did not disclose how many lost their jobs, but said the majority of downsizing is occurring outside of Warsaw.
Zimmer Biomet said the decision was not made lightly, and said the moves are necessary to allow the company to achieve its long-term strategy while also developing life-changing innovations for patients.
