Soil-Con

The agricultural community is invited to attend Soil-Con 2026; a full-day educational event focused on soil health and practical conservation strategies. Attendance is FREE, but registration is required. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Oakwood Event Center (849 E. Lake View Rd, Syracuse, Indiana). Doors open at 8:00am.
Soil-Con will bring together three perspectives on soil health. Paul Jasa will show how no-till systems must be managed correctly in the field. Dr. Ray Weil will explain the soil biology and nutrient cycling that make those systems work. And Dr. Thomas Dykstra will connect both to long-term plant health and insect pressure. Together, they show that soil health isn’t one practice, it’s a system.
To RSVP call 574-267-7445 ext 3 or by going online to KosciuskoSWCD.org.
