Oakwood Cemetery Heritage Walk
On June 27 th , 2026, Oakwood Cemetery will host the Heritage Walk From 1:00-4:00 The last
group will start at 3:30. This year we are going to celebrate our War Veterans. We have 11 that
are going to be portrayed in this walk. The tough part about this walk is that we can portray all
Veterans in Oakwood Cemetery as it would be in the thousands. So many men and women have
laid their lives on the line for us so we can live free. So, we will have a memorial wall in the
chapel so you can bring a picture of your loved one or a simple note with their name, rank or a
brief memory that you have and stick it on the wall. We will have some tables set up in the
Chapel if you would like to display anything about your loved one you would like to share about
their time in the service. Please send an email and let me know if you would like to do this.
