WARSAW — Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce has a new member — Slate Auto.
The chamber announced on social media last week that the new electric pickup truck manufacture, which is expected to begin production of its vehicles later this year, has joined the chamber.
The company plans to hire 2,000 people and is transforming the old RR Donnelley printing plant into a modern production facility ahead of its launch.
“We are excited to have Slate Auto as part of our business community and look forward to the innovation, opportunity, and collaboration they bring to our region,” the Chamber said in a post on Instagram.
Slate Auto is currently hiring for a variety of positions and is excited to become an active member of the community, the Chamber said. “We encourage job seekers to explore available opportunities and join their growing team.” You can apply here.
