The Warsaw Education Foundation (WEF) is launching a new program to help students in Warsaw schools who aren’t getting enough to eat. The Food for Thought Fund is an effort to ensure students don’t go hungry or fall behind in the classroom. More than 3,000 WCS students qualifying for food assistance, and the Warsaw Education Foundation is trying to bridge the gap. To launch the fund, an anonymous local couple has offered a $30,000 matching gift. For every dollar donated by the community, the couple will match—dollar-for-dollar—up to $30,000. Tax-deductible donations can be made online by visiting Warsaw Education Foundation Dot Org.
