AUBURN — A teenager died Monday night in an off-road vehicle collision near Auburn.
The accident happened shortly after 6.30 when authorities received a 911 call about an off-road vehicle accident in the 5400 block of County Road 52.
An initial investigation indicated that a 14-year-old was operating an off-road minibike when he attempted to avoid a collision with a go-kart.
The teen was thrown from the minibike and the vehicle continued sliding until it struck the go-kart and then also struck the ejected juvenile.
The accident happened on private property and no other details were available.
