Be Aware Of Credit Card Fraud Near Kosciusko County

The Mishawaka Police Department wants to send out an important message for all credit/debit card users that between Friday, July 18 and Monday, July 21, 2014 unknown suspects have been purchasing merchandise in large quantities at popular local businesses in the Grape Road and Main Street area.  The Mishawaka Police Department is advising area residents and shoppers to check with you’re your local banks to make sure your checking accounts have not been compromised. This alert was sent out after more then a half a dozen victims came into the police department to file reports concerning unauthorization of their credit/debit cards.  The transactions have occurred in Elkhart, Mishawaka, Plymouth and South Bend.
