Warsaw Police Investigating Arson On Church Van

The Warsaw Police Department is investigating the Monday burning of a church van as an arson. Warsaw Police Department Public Information Officer Kip Shuter said the 1998 Dodge passenger van belonging to the Iglesia Betesda Assembly-God church in Warsaw was intentionally set on fire. The van was last used around Christmas and was left parked behind the church on McClelland Street. The church pastor was clearing snow when he discovered a window to the van has been broken. He then noticed someone has set the interior on fire. Shuter said the fire extinguished itself, and that the investigation is ongoing.
