19 dogs taken from Nappanee farm property

During the overnight hours Saturday leading into Sunday, 19 bulldogs were stolen from a Nappanee dog breeder’s barn.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Chris Francis said the dogs were stolen from a property in the 8500-block of County Road 1100 North and included 12 English bulldogs that were 7 weeks old; six French bulldogs that were 3 months old; and one 2-year-old French bulldog. The owner reported them missing on Sunday.

The dogs were valued at $3,500 each, making the heist valued at $66,500. Francis said the dogs are all micro-chipped, but police have no leads. Anyone with information can contact police.
