Amber Pasztor’s pretrial conference delayed

ELKHART COUNTY (WNDU) – The pretrial conference for a Fort Wayne mother accused of killing her two children was delayed as they await results from a mental health exam.

Amber Pasztor faces two murder charges after she told police she smothered her two children.

Pasztor was arrested in September after flagging an officer down behind the Elkhart Police Department and telling him she had two dead children in the back seat. Police found 7-year-old Liliana Hernandez and 6-year-old Rene Pasztor.

The court ordered a mental health evaluation last week, and they are still waiting for the results of that exam.

Pasztor will be in court next on December 29.
