Angel Tree tradition continues at Walmart in Warsaw

WARSAW — The Salvation Army once again is placing Angel Trees in Kosciusko County to help families in need.  

The “community tree” is located at Walmart, 2501 Walton Blvd in Warsaw. 

That tree will be there with individual tags until Dec. 18 as part of a national program.  

Companies, Churches and businesses sponsoring trees with their employees, members include: 

Warsaw Public Library, Warsaw Kiwanis Club, 1st United Methodist Church, Medtronic, Alderfer Bergen & Co, Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Kosciusko REMC, McDonald & Blakely Family, Trinity United Methodist Church, Leader’s Staffing, Lutheran Health Heart, Dental Solutions, Depuy Synthes, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Celebration United Methodist Church, Zimmer-Biomet (PMI & Sports Med Departments), Paragon Medical & Warsaw Elks Lodge.  

This is the 35th year for Angel Tree in Kosciusko County with The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary providing support and volunteers for this outreach.  

Names are cleared with other agencies to avoid duplication according to Envoy Sina Locke, administrator.
