Penn-Harris-Madison School has removed a substitute teacher from its roster after learning he was arrested for soliciting sex from a minor. An email was sent to parents on Friday detailing how the Warsaw man had appeared on an episode of NBC’s “Dateline: To Catch a Predator”. He also subbed at Plymouth Community Schools and it was an Argos resident who first informed Plymouth schools about his background. P-H-M did NOT identity the name of the substitute, but ABC-57 News reports it was 61 year-old Stanley Kendall who was caught on videotape trying to lure a child in Murphy, Texas. The arrest did not appear when Safe Hiring Solutions ran a criminal background check on him in January. The email from P-H-M stated a Google search revealed the charges against him were “dropped due to a technicality” and he was not prosecuted. Nonetheless, they say he will NOT teach again in the district.
