Arizona Sears (Prater), of Wabash and formally of Silver Lake, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the age of 89.

Born on December 15, 1932, in Blue River, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Malcom and Plina Prater (Ousley), both of whom preceded her in passing. Arizona worked for over 20 years at Peabody Retirement Community, helping in the dining room, as a house keeper, and a nurses aide.

Arizona was united in marriage to her first husband, Erman Dotson, and spent over 50 years together before his passing in March of 2008. Then in June of 2009, she married Clifford Sears, who preceded her in death in April of 2015.

Arizona was always on the go with her daughter and granddaughter. Anytime they were out, she made sure that they always stopped for dinner. She also enjoyed being outdoors, listening to the birds chirp in the mornings and spending time gardening. Arizona also loved her church and listening to bluegrass music. She even learned to play the banjo.

Those who survive to cherish her memories are her daughter and son- in law, Krystal and Harold Napier; and granddaughter, Faith Napier. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews as well as extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Erman Dotson, Clifford Sears, three brother and five sisters.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 E. Sheridan St. Warsaw, IN 46580, is entrusted with the care of Arizona. Friends and family may gather there starting at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. At noon, Pastor Carl Hughes will officiate the Life Celebration® service.
