A police pursuit in Benton Harbor has ended in a deadly crash. It happened early Monday morning Near Pipestone Street and Foster Avenue. ABC-57 News reports officers were trying to pull a vehicle over after seeing the driver commit a minor traffic violation, but the 22 year-old Benton Harbor man behind the wheel hit the gas, took some fast turns while trying to evade the police, before losing control and smashing into a tree. The man was unresponsive and had to be had to be extricated from the vehicle. The man's body was transported to Lakeland Hospital.
