The Bowen Center is about ready to go with their COVID testing site on Dubois Street.

Kurt Carlson, speaking at Wednesday’s press conference from Warsaw City Hall, said if training with staff was all completed on Wednesday, the center would be opening today to begin testing. The site is run with help from the state.

In a phone call Thursday morning, staff at the Bowen Center confirmed that the site will be opening at 12 PM.

Once open, people can drive up and get testing for no charge, no appointment is needed, and they will be testing those ages two and up. It will be run Tuesday through Friday from 10 or 11 AM to 6 or 7 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM. The site will be running through June 2021.

Testing is also still available at MedStat and Parkview according to Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer, which is helped with CARES Act funding.
