Busy Day For Warsaw Emergency Crews

It was a busy afternoon for Warsaw Police and First Responders yesterday. Well, a busy 15 minutes. Three separate calls were made to 911 dispatchers Tuesday afternoon, all within a quarter of an hour, and all involving minor injuries. Police and EMS first responded to Center Street near Zale Drugs for the report of a 4 car collision with one driver complaining of dizziness. Within minutes, a call came in reporting a moped stuck on the railroad tracks at Hickory and Market Streets. The woman driving the moped was crossing the tracks when the front wheel of the vehicle became lodged in the tracks and she was thrown from the moped. She suffered minor injuries, the railroad had to temporarily stop trains scheduled to move through the area until the moped was removed. And, just moments after, the third 911 call was received reporting a motorcycle accident near the 2nd roundabout at Fox Farm road. There, the driver of the motorcycle was transported from the scene with injuries sustained in that incident.
