Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Kosciusko County is holding their 20th Annual Holiday Festival on Nov. 12 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Image Air Charters hangar at the Warsaw Airport.
CASA will host guests from corporate sponsors, business leaders and other CASA supporters from northern Indiana.
This year’s theme, “Making a Difference,” is inspired by the “Starfish Story” by Loren Eiseley.
According to a news release from CASA, “As the hangar is transformed to the ocean and ocean coastline, guests will delight in a sit-down meal masterfully prepared by some of Kosciusko County’s best restaurants. Service Liquors graciously provides wine on the table while the Downtown Eatery and Spirits is providing a cash bar for additional beverages, including some tropical specialty drinks. With an underwater virtual reality ‘special experience’ and a silent and live auction, the evening will be a fun occasion to support CASA of Kosciusko County.”
CASA of Kosciusko County is a nonprofit organization committed to speaking in the best interests of children who are at risk for abuse and neglect. CASA recruits, trains and supports volunteers to serve as advocates for children in the family court system. Support at this year’s event will enable CASA of Kosciusko County to continue to provide the quality training and support needed for CASA volunteers to be the eyes and ears of the court and voice of children who have suffered abuse or neglect.
