The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce is still accepting nominations for their annual awards.
Each year the chamber honors businesses and individuals for their roles in our community.
The deadline for nominations to be accepted in Wednesday.
They are encouraging people and business to nominate themselves.
The highlight of the awards ceremony is the Woman and Man of the Year announcement. The chamber is looking for nominees who live in the county now, have lived here for at least five years and who have made positive impact in the community.
Other nominations for awards are also being sought.
GOVERNMENT EXCELLENCE

Any official (either elected or appointed) who has performed a particular service or overall effectiveness in office on behalf of residents within Kosciusko County, is currently in and level of government office or has been out of office no more than two years (local, state, or federal) and has demonstrated commitment to supporting business.
YOUNG ADULT PROFESSIONAL

Any person who is 39 years or younger and is employed in Kosciusko County. Has achieved success and excellence in their field before the age of 40, has demonstrated leadership, initiative and dedication in pursuing their careers and commitments outside of work.
BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

This award lauds a Kosciusko Chamber member that has exhibited exemplary leadership, business growth and service to the community. The recipient will be recognized as a leader in the business community and as serving as positive example of business practices.
LAUNCHPAD FAMILY FRIENDLY BUSINESS
This award will be given to a business that provides innovative and creative solutions to support their employees as they navigate through their family and/or child care needs.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Business, non-profit, or service organization that has made a significant impact in Kosciusko County. This business should also support the Chamber through participation.
