The city of Warsaw has rolled out a new alert system for its residents.

The new system sends alerts to a cell phone or e-mail and can send notices such as emergencies, road closures, trash route notices, weather warnings, parks and recreation notices, Warsaw police notices and wastewater utility notices.

Residents who do not use texting or email may call the City of Warsaw Mayor’s Office to register for voice calls that will read the alert over a recorded phone message. Residents are strongly encouraged to sign up elder family members or encourage them to call the Mayor’s Office to register for these calls.

Head to the registration link on the City of Warsaw website by clicking here.
