WARSAW — A 22-year-old college student who was facing $5,000 in car repairs this week was the grand prize winner Thursday night at 107.3 WRSW’s Ornament Smash and took home a 2012 Jeep Liberty Utility valued at $9,975.
Marin Hart, of Warsaw, was the lucky random winner. She’s a full-time student who will graduate Saturday with a master’s in business administration and plans to go to law school.
Winning the vehicle just a week before Christmas carries a special significance for Hart.
“I have to say, Glory, Glory, Glory to God! – all the credit to him. I am just so thankful for how he has blessed me. All the gifts that he has given me, I can’t take any credit for any of it. It’s by his hand.”
The grand prize was provided by Lucky 7 Car Store.
More than $40,000 in prizes was distributed at Thursday night’s event to the radio station’s listeners.
