Concord Coach Fired After Posting Twitter Threat

The Concord High School coach suspended after posting a message on Twitter inviting others to help her burn down Memories Pizza in Walkerton has been fired. During its regular meeting on Monday, April 20, the school board voted to terminate Jess Dooley, who served as the head girls golf coach and assisted with softball and girls basketball. The post was in response amid Religious Freedom Act controversy, when one of the co-owners of Memories Pizza told an ABC-57 News reporter they would not cater a gay wedding due to their religious beliefs.
