The Freedom From Religion Foundation has asked a federal judge to immediately stop Concord Schools from organizing or rehearsing the live Nativity scene that is part of its annual Christmas Spectacular. Because the federal lawsuit filed by the Freedom From Religion Foundation and the A-C-L-U on behalf of a local father and son will likely NOT be settled before this year’s performance, the plaintiffs filed a motion for a preliminary injunction. The Elkhart Truth reports rehearsals have already started for the pageant. Concord has until November 5th to file a response. The plaintiffs have until November 12th to reply.
