This next story has gotten a lot of attention in the farm world but it's really a consumer story. The issue is Country of Origin Labeling…. known by the acronym – COOL… it basically means all food products sold in the U-S would have to have the name of the country where it was produced on the label. Supporters say consumers have a right to know… one poll had 90-percent support from consumers…. Canada and Mexico say they'll boycott if it passes….. The World Trade Organization is reviewing the case….for me???… If the bottle of wine says Argentina – I try it… but pork chops from Mexico?….not so much…. funny part is???…most consumers don't even read labels…..
