The Kosciusko County Commissioners are reportedly looking into approving a water quality study around Tippecanoe Lake. According to the Times Union, the commissioners are currently opposed to the concept of creating a conservancy district around the lake. The study would be used as evidence as to the need for such a district around the lake. A group called Friends of Tippy asked the commissioners to reject a conservancy district because the Tippecanoe Lake area is not in need of a sewer system.
