Crash at S.R. 25 and 100 S leaves one critically injured

Kosciusko County officials are currently investigating a two vehicle traffic crash on State Road 25 at 100 South near Warsaw. A 40-year-old woman is in critical condition in Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne from injuries sustained in the collision.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency personnel responded shortly before 11 a.m. Friday. The crash involved a south bound 2007 maroon Chevy Tahoe, and a west bound green 1994 Ford Escort crossing State Road 25 on 100 South at the intersection. Evidence at the scene indicates that the west bound Ford failed to yield the right of way to the south bound Chevy Tahoe.

The 2007 Chevy Tahoe driver was not injured in the collision.

Officers stated that the crash is still currently under investigation.  The Kosciusko County Fatal Team was assisted at the scene by members of the Warsaw Fire Department,  Lutheran E.M.S., the Warsaw Police Department, and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
