Daycare center worker charged with battering a baby

GOSHEN — A Goshen woman day care center employee has been arrested, suspected of battering a baby.

Charges are just now being filed, police say it was back in June when 22-year-old Marisa Jester was taking care of an infant when the child suffered a broken arm. Investigators believe Jester mishandled the baby, according to our partners at WNDU.

She’s recently been arrested and charged on a preliminary count of battery resulting in serious bodily injury to a person under 14 and one count of neglect of a dependent. Officials with the Rainbow Child Care Center sent a letter to its families.
