The Allen County Coroner has identified the 3-year-old girl who drowned in an Allen County pond Tuesday afternoon. The coroner completed the autopsy on Addison Hartman of Allen County Wednesday afternoon. The 3-year-old was pronounced dead when her body was recovered from a family pond off of Prine Road south of Fort Wayne. The cause of death has been determined to be drowning and the coroner also ruled her death as accidental. Police say she and a 4-year-old boy were riding a Power Wheels style toy car in the area. The toy tipped over near the water and that's when the girl fell into the pond. The boy ran inside for help and then the authorities were called. Dive teams arrived to the scene around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Just before 4:30 p.m., crews recovered the girl's body.
