Details On Car Crashing Into Warsaw Home

Yesterday we were on the scene of the accident between a dump truck and red sedan that crashed, causing the sedan to run into a home on S. Union St in Warsaw. We now know more on the cause of the accident. According to a police report, the driver of the sedan, Thelma I. Walton didn’t see Harold R. Smith in his dump truck driving down Winona Ave. She pulled out onto Winona Ave. from S. Union St and struck the fuel tank of the dump truck, spinning the sedan into the home on S. Union St. owned by Chad A. Zartman. The house did receive some damage to the south side and to the yard. Walton complained of neck pain, but had no serious injuries. Smith was unharmed in the crash. The expected damages could be up to $5,000.
