Duncan To Seek Winona Lake Town Council Seat

Denny Duncan announced that he will file as a candidate for the Winona Lake Town Council, Ward 2, in the Republican Primary on May 5.
Currently, the seat is held by Terry Howie.
According to a provided press release, Duncan is currently employed by Grace College where he is the director of regional education. He worked previously with Warsaw Community Schools for 34 years, the last 18 of those years he served as principal of Jefferson Elementary School in Winona Lake.
He is a member of the Winona Lake Redevelopment Commission, Grace Village Board of Directors, Indiana Lakes Federal Credit Union Board of Directors and is a former member of the United Way of Kosciusko County Board of Directors. He attends the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church.
Duncan is described as a pro-family fiscal conservative, according to the press release. He said that he believes Winona Lake is an amazing place to live and raise a family. As a member of the town council, he would work collaboratively with community leaders to build on the momentum established over the years making Winona Lake such an amazing place, the release states.
