Echoes Of The Past To ‘Cram The Tram’ For Toys For Tots

No one wants to see a child go without during the holiday. No one more than the members of The Echoes of the Past, according to a news release from the tractor club.

Last year began their quest to “Cram the Tram” with toys to help fulfill the Christmas wishes of children in Kosciusko County. Partnering with the United States Marine Corp Reserves Toys for Tots program, the toy drive was a success, the release states. The program last year was able to make magic for over 2,500 children.

The Toys for Tots program started in 1947 in Los Angeles with a few handmade dolls and has grown into a national community action plan wherever there is a Marine Corp Reserve location.

The Echoes of the Past will begin collecting toys today, Monday, Nov. 7. Anyone wanting to donate toys to help fill the tram may do so by placing an unwrapped new toy in the drop boxes located at Tractor Supply, 3294 E. U.S. 30, Warsaw, or at Splendor Boats, 9526 S. Ind. 15, Silver Lake. You may also contact any member of the club to donate a toy.
