ELKHART WOMAN CHARGED WITH HAVING SEX WITH PRISONER IN WORK RELEASE

An Elkhart woman faces Level 5 felony charges after police accused her of having sexual relations with a prisoner while working at the Elkhart County Work Release Center. 35-year old Danielle Livous could get up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines. Investigators say she allegedly had sex with a man who was serving his probation at the center and warned him before center employees stopped by his home for probation visits. Livous worked for Sentinel Offender Services as a monitor for prisoners who are on home detention.
