The Kosciusko County Shrine Club will hold the annual Turkey Shoot September 26 and 27, 2026
from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Beason’s Gun Range in Etna Green, IN. The event supports the
Shriners Children’s and the Mizpah Shrine Temple’s philanthropic mission to provide high-
quality medical care to children for bone, joint, muscle conditions, burns and other special
needs in a warm, family focused environment regardless of the ability to pay. Several
community minded members and businesses support the mission with generous donations and
continuing participation. As always, thousands of generous local sportsmen have supported
the mission for 25 plus years. This year a three-gun raffle will feature an AR 15, a Glock 19, and
Ruger Super Wrangler donated by McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels and Instrumental Machine
and Development. Tickets are $10.00 and will enter the purchaser in a drawing for three
chances to win. Children under 12 will be able to shoot free for a .410 shotgun donated by Two
Bear Arms Gun Shop. Please join us for good old fashioned fall fun, food is available, a huge
silent auction will be held and numerous prizes will be available to shoot for. The public is
welcome. Again, remember “No person stands so tall as when they stoop to help a child”
