Goshen photographer Mark Kurtz will visit the North Webster Public Library to present, “Saigon Revisited,” a program recounting his experiences as a photographer during the Vietnam War.

Rather than focusing on the war, Kurtz chose to focus on the everyday people and happenings in the city of Saigon. From prayer time in a Buddhist temple to kids playing in the streets, to a beggar pleading wordlessly for food, Kurtz’s photos give a glimpse into a Vietnam that most of us have never known.
