DESCRIPTION:Community Paddle Boarding & Canoeing Pike Lake Beach | 1009 E Arthur St\, Warsaw Saturday\, June 27 | 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. FREE! Enjoy time on the water with one of our Community Paddle Boarding & Canoeing events! This free program gives community members the opportunity to explore the lake using paddle boards or canoes. No registration is needed\, but all participants must have a waiver and rules form on file each calendar year. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver. A few things to know before you paddle: -Participants under 16 must have an adult in the water with them. -Paddle boards\, canoes\, and life vests are provided by the Parks Department. -Equipment is available first come\, first served and used in timed sessions so everyone has a chance to participate. -Staff will provide a quick safety overview before you head out on the water. -All activities are supervised by Parks staff. Stop by\, grab a paddle\, and enjoy the lake!

SUMMARY:Oakwood Cemetery Heritage Walk
DESCRIPTION:On June 27 th \, 2026\, Oakwood Cemetery will host the Heritage Walk From 1:00-4:00 The last\ngroup will start at 3:30. This year we are going to celebrate our War Veterans. We have 11 that\nare going to be portrayed in this walk. The tough part about this walk is that we can portray all\nVeterans in Oakwood Cemetery as it would be in the thousands. So many men and women have\nlaid their lives on the line for us so we can live free. So\, we will have a memorial wall in the\nchapel so you can bring a picture of your loved one or a simple note with their name\, rank or a\nbrief memory that you have and stick it on the wall. We will have some tables set up in the\nChapel if you would like to display anything about your loved one you would like to share about\ntheir time in the service. Please send an email and let me know if you would like to do this.
