SUMMARY:Northern Indiana Power from the Past
DESCRIPTION:Northern Indiana Power From the Past\, Inc. is excited to announce the 49th annual antique tractor show\, scheduled for July 16-19\, 2026. A cherished tradition since 1976\, this event draws thousands to Pulaski County each summer\, offering a nostalgic celebration of antique tractors\, steam engines\, working sawmill and historical displays in the beautiful Winamac Town Park. \nThe festivities kick off with a preview night on Wednesday\, July 15. Admission for the preview night is $1 per person over 12 years. \nStarting each day from July 16-19\, the show opens with a Flag Raising\, Prayer\, and the national anthem at 9:00 a.m. Visitors can explore a bustling flea market with over 150 vendors offering an array of collectibles. Working displays of wheat threshing\, steam engines\, antique chainsaws and more. Entrance fees are $5 per person or $15 for the entire event. \nThis year’s featured tractor is the Oliver and Hart Parr\, and attendees can enjoy the sight and sounds of steam engines\, including the thrilling spark shows at night. The entertainment lineup this year includes Carey Govert’s Liberty Horses on Thursday evening and Friday afternoon\, Branson Eber & Aaron Campbell on the stage Thursday evening\, Barrel Scrapers bluegrass on Friday evening\, Saturday brings the Acoustic Voodoo Garden and the Blue Holler Band to the stage. The always popular heavyweight horse pull event starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday. \nFamilies can enjoy daily children’s games and a kiddie tractor pull on Saturday\, while Sunday hosts the Headhunters Car Club Cruise In\, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Quilt Show and a working village featuring a blacksmith\, printmaker\, and leather crafting offer additional attractions throughout the show. \nWith a variety of food vendors\, there’s something for everyone. The 100K ride takes cyclists on an unforgettable journey past several stunning lakes\, including Lake Wawasee\, Webster Lake\, Chapman Lake\, Winona Lake\, and Tippecanoe Lake. \nAlong the way\, riders will enjoy peaceful country roads\, charming small towns\, sparkling lake views\, and welcoming SAG (Safety and Gear) stops offering water\, snacks\, encouragement\, and support throughout the ride. \nAfter crossing the finish line\, participants can relax and enjoy lunch back at the Syracuse Community Center while sharing stories from the day’s adventure. \nThe proceeds from the ride will be used to support community projects of the Syracuse Wawasee Rotary Club and our non-profit partners\, helping strengthen recreation\, wellness\, and community connections throughout the region.
