DESCRIPTION:As a symbol of Hope and Brighter days ahead\, Daffodil Days sponsored by the American Cancer Society are here in Kosciusko County right now.  An order of Daffodils is one 10 stem bunch of fresh cut daffodil buds\, that once trimmed and put in water will open to be beautiful big yellow blossoms in just a few hours-that’s a promise.  It’s really fun watching them open in such a short time.  A bunch of Daffodils is $12.00. They need to be ordered by Feb 18th by calling Carol Huffer at 574-858-0051.  The flowers will arrive at Anderson’s Greenhouse on March 19th and can be picked up and paid for that day from 9-5pm or for those who order more than then bunces Carol will be gladly deliver them.

SUMMARY:Valley and WaWasee National Honor Society Game
DESCRIPTION:On January 27 at the girls’ basketball game\, the Tippecanoe Valley and Wawasee National Honor Societies will face off in a friendly competition for a great cause. The goal is to see which school can collect the most hygiene items. Donations will be collected at the door and used to support individuals in need within our respective communities. We will be collecting items such as deodorant\, bar soap\, hand soap\, shampoo and conditioner\, toothbrushes and toothpaste\, laundry detergent\, feminine hygiene products\, dish soap\, paper towels and other cleaning supplies. The game will be at Tippecanoe Valley High School. Doors open at 5:15 pm with JV tipping off at 6 pm\, and varsity starts at approximately 7:30 pm. Approximately 60 different vendors will be selling new\, used\, and antique farm related toys and collectables in three large rooms. Vendors and visitors come from all over Indiana and surrounding states. Come early and don’t miss your chance to shop over 150 tables worth of great items to suit both kids and adults.\nCome for lunch and purchase something great to eat or drink at our concession stand and don’t forget the homemade pie for dessert. \nParking is plentiful and close to the school.
