Fairfield Inn will construct a new hotel along North Detroit Street rather than on the east side of Warsaw.
The Times-Union reports the new location will be on Sheldon Street, which runs parallel and to the west of North Detroit. This comes after the company abandoned plans to construct a hotel east of the license branch along U.S. 30.
The construction on Sheldon could begin within a few weeks, but no opening date has been announced.
