A not-guilty plea has been entered by the South Bend father charged in connection with the death of his 4 month old daughter. 22 year-old Brian Michel is charged with Neglect of a Dependent Resulting In Death. The county coroner determined the cause of baby Halo Stutzman's death to be cranial cerebral trauma and ruled the manner of death to be a homicide.The forensic pathologist has further testing to complete in order to determine whether the manner in which the child died is consistent, or inconsistent, with the versions of events Michel told investigators.
