A major well-known project to feed malnourished people around the world is coming to Warsaw this fall. Feed My Starving Children is an organization designed to take simple meals to feed the hungry people of the world. In recent years, a church in Nappanee has packed over 2 million meals, and now Warsaw elementary teachers Scott Sherk and David Wayne are leading an effort to pack a million here in Warsaw in October. Those meals will then be shipped to people in countries where food shortages are a major problem. Wayne says they will need thousands of volunteers to pack meals soon, but right now they need donations and corporate sponsors to buy the food to make the meals.
