A week after one opened in South Bend, a new Disaster Recovery Center will be opening in Plymouth.

FEMA will open the center Monday morning, to offer more support to people who are recovering from the historic flooding that struck the area earlier this year.

It will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m until it closes on Wednesday, May 23. Representatives will meet with victims at the Fitness Forum at 2855 Miller Drive to show them how to apply for extra financial support.

There are also volunteers on-hand offering a variety of services to help people recover from damages.
