Five-year-old Goshen boy hit by car in Syracuse

A 5-year-old boy from Goshen is injured after a crash in Syracuse.

He was hit by a car that was crossing the bridge on West Henry Street on Tuesday evening.

Police say the driver didn’t see the boy enter the roadway or hit his car. The Times-Union reports the child was standing with his father on the west side of the bridge and was struck by the vehicle when trying to cross.

He suffered several bruises, scrapes and a fractured right foot.
