Former Goshen Homeless Shelter Catches Fire

A former Goshen Homeless Shelter is a total loss after catching fire yesterday. The fire broke out just after 2pm in the 500 block of East Lincoln Avenue. According to the Elkhart Truth, a total of 38 firefighters were called out through the night and into the morning to battle the fire. Crews were still on the scene 12 hours after the blaze started. The building is expected to be investigated on Friday to evaluate the damage and cause of the fire.
