A former West Noble Middle School teacher has agreed to a plea deal on felony charges of child pornography and child exploitation.
57-year old Gregory Alan Riegsecker of Ligonier was initially charged last August with Level 5 and Level 6 felonies related to child pornography and exploitation, and he appeared in a Noble County courtroom Monday.
If the judge approves the deal, Rigsecker would face a maximum three years in prison and he would be required to register as a sex offender.
Other charges in the case were dropped. Authorities received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after they were notified by the social media platform Instagram. Sentencing is set for next month.
