FRIDAY COVID UPDATE: State hits 300 deaths with 55 more reported

Indiana topped 300 COVID-19 related deaths according to the Friday update from the Indiana State Department of Health.

556 more positive cases were reported, bringing the state total up to 6,907. That is in addition to 2,907 more tests that were reported, with the state total now hitting 35,040.

Locally, Kosciusko County reported one additional case, raising the county total to 17. Elkhart County reported five more cases to bring their total up to 61. Two additional cases were reported in Whitley County, while there was one new case in Noble, Marshall and Wabash Counties.
